Kyle is a practicing musician of over 10 years and is consistently involved in a variety of music projects. He currently maintains a solo guitar practice in the American Primitive style and plays guitar in his Brooklyn-based alternative rock band, Tether.

Kyle studied steel-string fingerstyle under Sean Smith in Los Angeles, California but had been studying music for long before that. He studied jazz improvisation, composition, and theory under Cory Goldman at the INK People Center for arts in Eureka, CA and Classical Piano Performance at Cal Poly Humboldt. He has also been mentored by practicing musicians Robert (Bob) Bucciarelli and Hilson Parker.

Kyle has been involved in a variety of music projects over the years - too many to list here. He began gigging and writing original music during his youth in Northern California. He continued this practice through his undergraduate program and dove further into theory and more complex composition. Post-graduation, Kyle began studying, and quickly writing compositions, in the American Primitive genre.

Kyle has put out two six-song EPs and a single to date. He is currently working with his new band, Tether, on recording their first release. He has gigged around New York City at venues such as Arlene's Grocery, Gold Sounds, and Rockwood Music Hall.
